FRACTIONAL ABLATIVE LASER - DERMABLATE EFFECT

Dermablate „Effect” technology is based on the ER:YAG crystal lasing at 2940 nm. Such a wavelength causes cell vaporization (ablation). In comparison with industry-standard lasers (CO2 lasers operating at 10600 nm), Er:Yag offers diminished post-treatment swelling, rapid healing and reduced hypertrophic scars, post-treatment hyperpigmentation or depigmentation.

Fractional technology consists in a fractional (partial) epidermal ablation. It leaves a part of the epidermis unchanged, hence reduced treatment side-effects, expedited healing process and enhanced patient's comfort. Maximum collagen production is stimulated at minimum thermal damage of the skin. The treatment parameters can be customized to address the patient's individual needs by setting the laser beam penetration depth and the energy density (the so called fluence).

Indications:

  acne

  acne scars

  smoker's skin

sun spots, face, neck and hand skin aging

  pigmentation after pregnancy and contraceptives

  stretch marks

A classic, surface ablation called laser peel may also be administered.
