    It is recommended for skin hormonal skin hyperpigmentation (chloasma, melasma) The treatment is based on the inhibitors of tyrosinase, the key enzyme in the production of melanin.Some of the Cosmelan agents block the enzyme or even reverse metabolic processes.

Cosmelan is the most effective depigmentation treatment available on the market, which:
      •     contains bleaching agents which are rapidly effective,
      •     does not include any keratolytic agents,
      •     is highly effective for treating depigmentation like melasma,
      •     is safe,
      •     can be be applied all year round,
      •     is suitable for all skin types.

Results:
An improvement in the skin condition is seen after the first week of treatment.The treatment time depends on the skin type.Blemishes on dark skin disappear after 8 - 10 days, – and on fair skin after 8-21 days. The treatment is continued at home and consists in applying Cosmelan 2.In 99 % of cases hyperpigmentation fade by 95%.
If treating with Cosmelan 2 is interrupted, blemishes may reappear, because a tendency for hyperpigmentation is restricted, but not eliminated.

Active Preparation Characteristics:

     •     Cosmelan 1:

a cream containing depigmenting substances. applied at the physician's office after   the skin has been degreased. It is a mustard colour mask, the treatment basis.

      •     Cosmelan 2:

a cream maintaining the treatment effects. It ensures effectiveness of the treatment and a permanent removal of blemishes. It also has sebum-regulating action and closes the pores, which makes it suitable for treating greasy and mixed skin. It contains a high sun protection factor.
