LASER HAIR REMOVAL

Laser hair removal is the only method known to permamently disable hair follicles without any damage to the skin.

We perform the treatment using a diode laser by Asclepion from Germany. One pulse eradicates hair in the area of 1 sq cm. The pulse frequency and, in consequence, hair removal pace may be individually customized. An average upper lip hair removal takes approximately 1 minute and both underarms - 10 minutes.

The patient's discomfort is reduced to a minimum due to an active cooling system in the handpiece. The laser light affects hair in its growing phase called anagen, leaving hair in the resting phase intact. Therefore, several treatments are required to achieve the desired effect. Laser hair removal works best for dark-haired individuals, because its efficiency is directly correlated to the amount of hair pigment.

The skin may respond to the treatment slight irritation and turn pink, which is a natural consequence of hair removal. Skin irritation wears off within about 15 minutes or a few hours in patients with sensitive skin.
